Review

A really good coming out movie. The truth about Jane focuses on the confusion and uncertainty that surrounds the coming out of any young lesbian

It also highlights the impact of coming out on those who love us the most

It really is a film in two halves.

The first half focuses on Jane and how she handles being outed

The second half is mainly about Janice, Jane's mother and how her passage through the stages of denial, anger and maybe acceptance?
